• British Museum - One of the finest collections in existence, spanning two million years of human history.
• Museum of London - Represents a quarter of a million years of history and over seven million modern Londoners.
• Museum Net - A guide to museums and galleries in the UK. Good for finding smaller, specialist museums that are not listed in 24 Hour Museum.

• Royal Academy of Arts - Independent fine arts institution which supports contemporary artists and promotes interest in the arts.
• Tate Online - Information on Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives.
