Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh Award- Is an exciting range of activities for young people aged 14-24 years.

It can be a challenge but it’s enjoyable and rewarding. The idea is to give you opportunities to develop personally and it’s accessible to any young person who wants to take part.

What’s in it for me?

You get to:

  • Meet new friends
  • Spend time with existing friends
  • Try new things
  • Develop new skills
  • Do an award that  is focused on you
  • Improve confidence
  • Have fun!

There are 3 different levels

  • Bronze – 14 years +
  • Silver – 15 years +
  • Gold – 16 years +

You need to complete by your 25th Birthday, so there’s loads of time. The levels do get a little more challenging so a lot of people choose to start at Bronze but you can start at whatever level you want so long as you are at the appropriate age.
