SHP youth programmes

South Hill Park is a safe and welcoming hub for young people with an interest in the arts. We are home to Eleven Nineteen, Art Plus Me, a thriving youth theatre and the most popular theatrical summer school in the area! We also have a group called Missed Out for aspiring theatre producers. South Hill Park work with hundreds of young people every year and we would love to reach even more.


 Eleven Nineteen

Friday’s (Term Time) 7pm - 9pm £1 per session

A youth group for young people aged between 11 and 19 who have an interest in the arts. Take part in a different workshop every week including: street dance, musical theatre, stage combat, film-making, acting and spray painting! We also arrange theatre trips, BBQ’s and quiz nights!


 Art Plus Me

Monday’s (Term Time) 4pm - 6pm, (Closed Group) Free for young carers or looked after children.

Spend an hour immersed in art with professional tutors. They will help you with an art project of your choice. Maybe you want to paint a canvas, model with clay perhaps you want to try your hand at digital arts like photoshop or video editing. Then relax for the final hour with a meal in the restaurant.

Wednesdays (Term Time)

Wilde Wannabies: 4pm - 5.30pm Ages 6 - 10 £95 per term

Wilde Ways: 5.45pm - 7.45pm  Ages 11 - 15 £125 per term

Wile Youth Theatre Company 8pm - 10pm 16+ £125 per term

South Hill Park run three popular youth theatre classes. Led by practicing theatre professionals, sessions are fun, high-energy and engaging. Each term, participants improve their skills and ability while working towards an end of term performance for friends and family. These are performed in either the Studio Theatre or Wilde Theatre.


Missed Out - Young Producers Group

Monday’s (Term Time) Ages: 14 - 25 Free, By Application Only

A team of 15 young producers who meet on Monday’s to devise, plan and deliver an exciting range of events and activities for other young people in the local area: fashion shows, gig nights, comedy nights and festivals are just some past examples. If you are thinking about becoming a project manager, producer or artist this is a group for you!
