Say it Loud, Say it Proud

SiLSiP stands for Say it Loud Say it Proud and is the name of Bracknell Forest Children in Care Council, which is for children and young people in care and for those who have left care recently.

We meet up every month and tell the council what’s good and what’s not so good about the help and support we get so that we can try and changes things for the better.  If you don’t tell us what’s wrong we can’t do anything about it.  We always need more young people in care to join to make sure we get the views of lots of young people.

So if you:

  • want to have your say
  • help to make things better for other young people in care
  • meet other young people in a similar situation
  • learn new skills to put on your CV
  • and have some fun too

SiLSiP also organises activities during the holidays for looked after children and young people, check out the events pages or contact Louise for more information.
