What is KOOTH.com?

In Bracknell Forest young people aged 11-18 can access counselling on-line through our KOOTH

website www.kooth.com.

KOOTH.com is an award winning FREE on-line counselling, support and advice service, offering different levels of support for different needs.

KOOTH on-line is Anonymous and Confidential and easy to use –

You can make up a username when you sign up, and we can keep what is said private unless we think you are at serious risk of harm.

Available when you need it –

24 hr messaging, and chat rooms  with counsellors open till 10pm 365 days per year to drop in to talk to someone. Counsellors are available week days from 12 noon till

10pm and at weekends in the evening till 10pm.

Professional and personal –

You can read about and choose which counsellor to contact. All our on-line counsellors are qualified, experienced and have enhanced DBS checks.

Flexible –

you can drop in when you want, or if you prefer, can arrange booked times to talk with a counsellor.

More than just counselling –

there is a journal, an Ask KOOTH feature, magazine and, moderated live discussion groups and message board forums to get support from other young people.

A joined-up service –

We link with schools, community based services and health services to make sure you get the best help you need at the time you need it.
