Youth Council
Want to get heard about the things that matter to young people? We need more young people to become involved, it is vital that young people have a say on local services and issues that affect us.
The Bracknell Forest Youth Council was set up in 2001. Young people (we mean aged 11-19) run the committee with the aim to improve the Bracknell Forest area for all young people.
We are supported by our youth workers and funded by Bracknell Forest Council Youth Service. We liaise with council members through boards and committees and also have opportunities to work one on one with key members in the Council giving us a great opportunity to get young peoples voices heard by the people with the power to change things.
We run many different events, programmes and residentials including Youth Opportunities and Capital Fund. Conferences, Members of Youth Parliament elections, we have run promotions on this website giving young people access to, swimming, bowling, golf, ice skating and much more.
We meet every other Monday at Portman Close from 6-8pm. See the Youth Centres link in the hotlinks section for more information.
