We need to know your views!
The Council are keen to know what young people think about a whole load of things such as the town centre redevelopment, or what you want on in your youth clubs, or what you think about drugs services and education.
To try and get your views we have the Youth Forum and Connexions have Teen Shout for their users. Other services do the same sort of thing. BUT… we also all come together as a group to talk about how we get people to ask you questions and hear your views.
We could do with you helping us get this right. The group that does this is the Engaging Children and Young People Group. We meet and plan and then go away and do the things that need doing.
So, can you help us to ask the right young people the right questions? You could answer our questionnaires, come along to our meetings, maybe both. Or you may have some better ideas about how to hear your views. Let us know by e-mailing us via the feedback form.
Check out the minutes from our last meeting, this will give you an idea of the kind of things we discuss and what we get up to.
Next meeting is on Wednesday 6th February 2008, 4pm - 5.30pm, venue to be confirmed.
